DEI Valet 561T Add-On Remote Car Starter Module

The DEI 561T Valet Remote Car Starter Module has all of the high quality and "remote start" operating features of the DEI Valet product line. The major difference is that it does not have its own remotes to activate the remote starting of your vehicle. Instead, it is "activated" by a negative (-) input signal from your existing aftermarket alarm or keyless entry system. Most quality aftermarket systems (such as the DEI Valet Keyless Entry Systems and the DEI Automate, Python, Viper, Sidewinder &Hornet Alarm systems) have an auxiliary output that can be used for this purpose. It is generally a Channel 3 output on DEI systems.

The biggest factor to consider is the present transmitter range that you now have with your existing DEI Keyless Entry or Alarm System (or other brand system).This is the range that you will have with channel 3 activating this DEI remote start module.In other words, you will be able to activate the remote starting of your vehicle from the same distance you can now operate your alarm or keyless entry system.If your present range is satisfactory for your intended remote start use, then the DEI 561T is an inexpensive way to add remote starting to your vehicle.

If your present transmitter range is not sufficient, you should consider replacing your existing alarm or keyless entry system with either a DEI Valet 563T Remote Start with Security or a DEI 554R "Two-Way" Remote Car Start with Security.
